On Your Bike!

30th June 2017
We are very excited to announce that our first delivery of school bikes came today.  Dave from Bike4health dropped the first 8 bikes for the children to use.  We have big plans in school to develop a 'cycling culture' and get everyone riding for health and enjoyment.  We are going to use our PE money to buy enough bikes for everyone to use and build our own bike track over the next year.

This Sunday (2nd July)  Bike4health have following free events available:

Children's Bike School (3-5years, 10am- 10.45am)
This bike school is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old.
During this 45 minute session, children will learn confidence and balancing techniques in a safe and friendly environment.
Bikes and helmets will be provided.

Guided Bike Ride (11.15am- 1.15pm)
This event is a guided bike ride to Newburn.
Suitable for intermediate cyclists, it's a great way to discover hidden places of interest and to meet new people.
Bikes and helmets are not provided but may be hired if required. Please contact wiebke@bike4health.org for prices and availability.
